The Nederlander Organization purchased the Adelphi Theatre in 1984, becoming co-owners with Andrew Lloyd Webber in 1993, shortly before the opening of his Tony award winning musical, Sunset Boulevard.
Currently, the Adelphi is home to the stage adaptation of the classic Hollywood film Back To The Future – winner of the 2022 Olivier Award for Best New Musical.
